The Board of Directors (“Board”) of Bermaz Auto Berhad (“the Company”) recognises the importance of corporate governance towards promoting business growth, increasing financial strength and well-being and corporate accountability to protect and enhance shareholders’ value as well as the interest of the Company. The Board is committed in ensuring that the Company and its subsidiaries (collectively “the Group”) carries out its business operations within the required standards of corporate governance as set out in the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (“MCCG”). The Corporate Governance Overview Statement (“CG Statement”) provides a summary of the corporate governance practices of the Company with reference to the three key Principles of good corporate practices as set out in the MCCG.
